Expected School Wide Learning Results
Madison High School will prepare graduates to be:
Academic Achiever Who:
- Recovers credits to return to Esparto High School according to Esparto Unified School District policy or
- Meets or exceeds the Madison High School and Esparto Unified School District graduation requirements to obtain a High School Diploma
- Passes the California High School Exam both in Mathematics and English Language Arts
Effective Communicator Who:
- Is an active listener that discerns, reflects, comprehends and interprets verbal information
- Is able to read, understand, interpret and summarize written information
- Is able to respond verbally utilizing academic English in cohesive, concise and informative fashion
- Is able to respond in writing with logical, coherent and grammatical form
Self-Directed Life Long Learner Who:
- Investigates, establishes and sets appropriate and realistic educational, vocational and personal growth goals and standards
- Exhibit self-motivation and self-discipline and accept individual and group responsibility for own success and failures in all aspects of life
- Exhibit good habits that include regular attendance at work or school and effective time management
- Develops a cadre of strategies to gather information and continually improve skills and knowledge
Quality Producer Who:
- Organizes, analyzes, combines and accesses essential data, information, skills and knowledge for the development of products or property
- Develops, creates, artistic, practical and physical products and/or intellectual property
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently and/or collaboratively
- Develops, pursues and establishes a high standard of quality
- Utilizes appropriate financial, human and technological resources

- Seeks understanding and uses discernment to make intelligent decisions and choices in all aspects of community involvement
